Cost of Adulthood.

Last night a friend of mine was complaining about how he had to fork out $150 for a new battery for his car. This got me thinking about the cost of being an independent adult.

Each week we have to pay rent, electricity, phone bill, internet bill, insurance, water rates, television fees, petrol, food. Then something unexpected comes along and makes you have to rejuggle the whole thing. Something like an unexpected break down of the car/fridge or a urgent visit to the after hours doctors.

Sometimes it would be nice to be a child again, to just live life and not have to worry about money and bills. But then again not having the freedom to do as I wish would get on my nerves quickly, I think.

With the 'Rights' that go along with being an adult come the 'Responsibilities'. Its not optional, its part of life as an adult.

So who wants to be a kid again? lol Honestly...I don't. Sure the responsibilities can be a burden. But I enjoy the freedom too much to ever want to trade that in.

Okay, thats my jumbled thought of the day.

There are alot of responsibilities being an adult, but the best thing is being able to make your own decisions good or bad.

Some times those bad ones are fun ;)

Yup, sometimes the bad ones are fun!

But whatever they are, adults take whatever consequences come as well.
