My thoughts on Wrestlemania...
Overall it wasn't as much of a disappointment as I thought it would be!
I predicted that RVD would win the Money in the Bank match. But what the hell was that shit with Lashley being scared to climb the ladder. He looked worse than I do when I have to deal with heights!
I'm hella surprised that John Cena retained his belt. I couldn't figure out the significance of the gangster people in his entrance though. Triple H's entrance was a lot different. He looked rather stupid in that costume he was wearing.
It was widely predicted that Rey would win the Smackdown Championship. And no surprises...he did. His music sounded weird live. And that chicken costume was funny. The match was pretty good. Shame it was so short though.
No surprises that Mickie James beat Trish for the Woman's Championship. She had it for waaaaaay too long. But other than Victoria, none of the other 'Divas' could wrestle to save their lives. Talking about not wrestling to save their lives and Divas.... the Playboy Pillowfight was dumb. But then again I expected it to be. Neither of those chicks can wrestle. Who comes up with that crap?
Michaels vs McMahon was great. As was the Edge vs Foley match. The McMahon family prayer was just ridiculous.
I was rather disappointed that Bret Hart didn't show for Wrestlemania. "He doesn't feel comfortable participating". Sorry but that's just a cop out as far as I'm concerned. All he had to do was go and stand on the stage for 5 minutes with the other Hall of Fame Inductees and wave to the crowd. Pussy...
For me the awww moment of the night was when Vickie Guerrero was escorted onto the stage by Chavo, she waved at the crowd then the Blackjacks came over and gave her a hug. Then Sherri gave her a hug and then stood with her arm round her.
It was a shame that there wasn't many special guest type appearances.
