HI HO.. A Camping we will go.....

Once a year I brave my fear of bugs, creepy crawlies and spiders and take Nicole, Abbey and Brendan camping. Its the annual Girls and Boys Brigade camp. This year it was at a school camp ground just south of Rotorua.

Getting there was rather hairy, we travelled through a thunderstorm with rain so heavy that I ended up stopping the car in the middle of the road because I couldn't even see the side of the road to pull over. Scarey shit.

Saturday morning we hiked up Rainbow Mountain. That was hard fucking work. Coming down was fun though... Saturday night we went swimming in the dark in a natural hot water river. Very romantic if you're with the right person.

Anyways it was lotsa fun. We all came home exhausted. Good stuff!
