Why?

Why do when I talk to a certain person online I end up feeling like an idiot? Why do I always regret the things I say? Why can't I just keep it on a superficial level? Why can't I keep them at arms length? Why do I let this person get to me so much? Why do I care? I doubt they do. I doubt they even know their effect.

In the words of another person who has power 'fuck it'.

LaRA! You should get that rubber stamp that I posted on my blog a few posts back.
The Stamp you need when you have a Rotten Day

OK, more than a few I guess. Its at the bottom of the post. I hope the link works.
Anyway,
Too bad you don't IM me..I'm nice, LOL!
Oh! I had my movie discussion group this evening about The Whale Rider. My Librarian remembered that I told her that I blogged with you. She announced to the class that I did and I got "OOooohs" and "Cool's", so, LaRa, you made me a 15 second star. Thanks!
Anyway, I have a homework assignment that only YOU can help with, Professor LaRa.
I remember you saying that you remembered kind of where the film was shot. Question is about climate and ocean temperatures. Seems it was a big confusion maker as how some scenes have the actors wearing no shirts, only shorts and seemingly in a short span of time, people are wearing heavy cardigan sweaters, knit caps and warm weather clothing. They wanted to know if the ocean water is cold, temperate or seasonal, kind of like it is here. Although to me it ALWAYS seesm cold. Is it colder, more brisk on the beaches and warmer inland or do you have warm days and cool nights?
See all the questions?
Oh, and the greeting with the forehead to nose thing. Is that strictly a Maori tradition?

Any light you can shed for us USA movie fans would be awesome and greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks, LaRa!!!
