Bridge to Terabithia

On Monday Nicole, Aimee and I went to see this movie. It was definitely not as I'd expected. I expected it to be about the kid's adventures in Terabithia. It wasn't though, it was about the kids friendship and their use of imaginative play helping them deal with their day to day lives. Pretty much the scenes of Terabithia seen in trailers are all that there are in the whole movie. It was very sad for a kids movie too.

I'd heard about that..the ending being sad and not what you'd come in there to expect. I'm glad I didn't take my kids to see that.
I don't anymore nightmares than the Night Terrors my little one is dealing with now.
*sigh*

I actually expected it to be scarier than it actually was. My daughter is sensitive to scary things too.

A few years ago my Dad and his wife allowed her to see one of the early Harry Potter movies. There son who is the same age as my daughter had watched it many times with no problem. Nicole had nightmares every night for over a month afterwards.

I hope your little one grows out of his night terrors soon. They must be very distressing for you both.
