I got an email from my brother Michael the other day saying he and his girlfriend Lorna are planning on moving to Melbourne, Australia in April next year. It wasn't that much of a surprise to me, as he's talked about it before.

He asked me if I would take his 2 cats until he gets settled there. Apparently he has a 18 month old white and grey cat and a 9 month old black kitten, both female. A friend said its a good thing Billy is now ball less otherwise I would be dealing with kittens. Michael assures me both the female cats have been de-sexed, otherwise I'm sure some neighborhood tom cat will do the deed.

Oh well, 4 cats, fun fun fun...

The name game

Two weeks after he was born, my sister Christine has finally decided on a name for her son. 'Letrent'

I rang Nana to inform her of this. She made the comment that my daughter Nicole comes up with better names for her kittens, than Christine does for her kids.

My family from Australia are arriving for 4 weeks, 4 WEEKS! Yes, 4 weeks. Its been a year since i've seen them, so it will be nice. But 4 weeks??? Restrictions on car use, computer use, phone use and just general behaviour. I feel like imma teenager all over again. :S

Is that all it takes...?

One angry phone call from the infamous ex, and finally I feel free. It feels like a huge weight has been lifted. If I knew it was that easy, I would have done it months ago...

Taking care of the dog

We are looking after my friend's dog for the weekend. Its an interesting experience as i'v never owned a dog in my life, and Nicole is scared of them. But so far everything has gone well. The only mishap is the fact that the dog came into the house, Billy the kitten went straight up the nearest curtain, disappeared out the window and we haven't seen him since. Hopefully he will come home tonight...

Ho Ho Ho...The old stalker woman has decided to make a 'diss' site featuring me and a friend of mine. It says who I've supposedly cybered. My sister Christine and her horrible partner Jahmon had their second baby on Thursday 2nd December. Another son. 7lb 6oz, born at 8.08am by c-section again. Baby is yet to be named. Christine asked Nicole for suggestions, she suggested Luke, amonst others, Christine seemed to quite like it. But we will have to wait and see what they finally decide upon.

Then two days later Manu and her partner P had their first child. They named their son Aex. He was 6lb 7oz. Everything went fine.
