Billy looked cute in the box....so I did the same with Fantom Posted by Hello

Birthdays and Outlaws

Nicole's birthday went well. The weather stayed dry, alternating between overcast and sunny. 9 out of the 10 little girls she invited showed up. We didn't here from the 10th one, dunno what happened, oh well.

Nicole's father Nick's mum was the only one of the outlaws who came down for it, it was both nice and a shame at the same time. Nick's dad and his wife send presents down with Karlene, which was very nice of them. Nick sent down a whole $5. Yippee!!! Actually it is a big deal. This is the first time he's ever acknowledged her birthday and the only time he's ever fronted with any money for her. I should frame it...

When I asked her which of her presents was her favourite, she answered... my baby amore (doll in the pic), my barbie bathroom set, my barbie car, my polly pocket and my little pony. She is one spoilt little girl.

I have decided I dislike baby amore. It takes batteries and cries, makes sucking noises, moves its eyes, mouth and stomach. To make it stop crying you have to hold its bottle in its mouth for a certain period of time. Nicole kept getting distraught cuz her baby wouldn't shut the fuck up. She kept bringing it to me, so I ended up babysitting a damn doll half the afternoon.

I found the Baby Born that she got for her second birthday, and thats head fell off a month or so ago, upside down in the rubbish bin this morning. Baby Born used to come everywhere with us, even to Australia.

Last year when we were visiting Aimee's house, Nicole discovered Aimee's make up. Nicole proceeded to make up all the adults.. me, Aimee's Nana and Koro, Uncle Mark, Uncle Shawn and Aunty Nikki. MmMmMmMmM PRUDY!

Nana made a deal with Nicole, she would buy Nicole make up if Nicole agreed to put it on every morning before she went to school. Nicole trotted off to school this morning looking like a circus clown, one eye pink, the other purple, green stripes on her cheeks, and my favourite....hooker red lipstick on and around her lips. I wonder if the school will say anything....

I put Nicole's birthday onto our local radio stations birthday calls this morning. She won the cake!! It will be arriving by courier this afternoon. Exciting stuff!!

Stuff that I found vaguely interesting at the time.

When I was a child of 14 my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21 I was astonished at how much he had learned in 7 years.

Ancient Egyptians slept on pillows make of stone.

In the Great Fire of London in 1666, half of London was destroyed but only 6 people were injured.

The first non-human to win an Oscar was Mickey Mouse.

Men's jackets originally buttoned up with the left side over lapping the right so that the clothing will not be in the way when the man had to draw a sword or gun quickly.

People with blue eyes are better able to see in the dark.

Water grows 9% bigger as it freezes.

Forrest fires move faster uphill than downhill.

At Hancock High in Mississippi there is a McDonalds in the school.

Abraham Lincoln's mother died from drinking milk from a cow which, when foraging in the woods, had eaten some poisonous snake root.

Just a 'Material Girl'

Wasn't that a song by Madonna?

Anyways I've been making some of my materialistic lusts come true...
Today I bought a 29 inch TV. Its HUGE compared to the old one! LOL I had to ring a friend with a station wagon car to come and take it home for me. It wouldn't fit in my Mitsubishi Diamante car. The picture is sooooooo clear, its awesome!! YaY for pre-Christmas specials!!!!

The other day I got my new cell phone!!! I've been going a little crazy with texting. But its been fun. Next week I have to ring everyone and let them know about my change of number. That's gunna be a hastle...

For Nicole's birthday I bought her a Barbie Bathroom set, Barbie outfit set, Barbie 'Princess and the Pauper' DVD and a Polly Pocket toy. Not the Polly Pocket she wanted, I decided it was too much to pay for something that will probably go up the vacuum cleaner in a couple of weeks.

He Dad's mum rang this morning and said she would buy her a Baby Born doll. We were at their place when the head fell off the other one and saw her tears. She is also making/buying a birthday cake for Nicole. Her, Nick's brother Tim and maybe her husband's grandson Conan who lives with them are coming down for the weekend. Nick said he will, we shall see if he shows up. And apparently Nick's father Chris is 'sorting something out' regarding Nicole's birthday, so we shall see about that too.

What ever happens, I don't really want them all invading my house, so I've decided on having a BBQ at the local park. Minimum fuss, expense and mess. Sounds like the plan. John said he will come so long as I make him potato salad. I make excellent potato salad, even I like it...

I'm an Aunty again

My brother John and his girlfriend Amber's baby arrived on Monday morning 15th November @ 10am. They have named him William (John's middle name) Ian (Amber's Dad's name) Sione ('John' in Cook Island maori). He was 7 and a half pounds. Everything went great. John is stoked. And good on them for bringing ANOTHER Scorpio into our family. LOL

My sisters second baby is due 10th December, shes expecting another boy according to John.

Manu (my brother Michael's ex) and her partner are expecting their first on 12th December.

Ball Less Billy

Billy came though his operation well. He was a bit sleepy and out of it the night of the operation. But has been fine ever since. He's not smelly anymore!!!:D

Tis the Season to be Materialistic

I've decided that I want...

Broadband Internet - connection cost $200 + $150 wiring costs just because we have a monitored security alarm. Then $39.95/month.

A new cellphone - the cheapest one is a Nokia 2280 @ $149 on Telecom Pre-Pay

A new 21 inch or bigger TV for the lounge (we currently have a 12 inch one in there = eye strain) - $500 New from the Warehouse or $150 ex-rental from DTR

New Passports from myself and Nicole - $71 for mine and $36 for Nicole's

Plane tickets/accomodation $/ spending $ for a holiday somewhere nice.

Nicole has decided she wants....

A new Baby Born doll (the head fell off her other one) - $100

A Polly Pocket roller coaster set - $80

'Alan and Ryan' Barbie set - $60

'Princess and the Pauper' Barbie doll - $60

'Princess and the Pauper' Castle - $250

I'll add to the lists as I remember things. Actually, I think we will both be shit outta luck, but hell, its worth dreaming.

My baby girl

I'm getting a child free weekend!!! ~Dances~

Don't get me wrong, I love my daughter very much. But the opportunity to have a bit of time out from her, and the much lusted after sleep-ins doesn't happen often. Its her sister Aimee's 7th Birthday, and Aimee's family have invited Nicole for the weekend. Nicole is quite at home there, and I know they will look after her well.

Nicole has developed a little quirk since she was there last. It all started with a class trip to the supermarket, while there they saw dead pigs being cut up for meat. Now she cross examines me about any sort of meat I cook for dinner. She flatly refuses to eat bacon aka 'pig', and I've lied to her about what steak, lamb and sausages are made out of. She believes steak is made from bread. LOL. It saves the histrionics and drama, not to mention the fact that meat is fucking expensive and I really dun wanna be wasting it.

Thanks to my careful tutoring Nicole also knows that when a doctor looks in one of your ears with one of those light thingys, you have to put your hand over your other ear to stop the doctor from looking right though your head. I'm a nice Mommy. LOL

On another note, Billy the kitten is having his balls chopped off tomorrow. I informed Nicole of this yesterday, and told her that he's gunna be sore and to be gentle with him after. She looked horrified at the idea that her kittens eyeballs were going to be chopped off. So I picked the kitten up, turned him upside down and showed her what was going to be cut off. She stuck out her hand and pinched one...MEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW. Billy didn't like that.

Oh the joys of being a parent...

Where it all began

My family is weird. Most people probably say that about their families, but I really mean it. My Mum was one of 10 children, and wanted only 2 children of her own. Whereas my Dad was an only child and wanted a lot of his own children. From what I know, that was one of the major reasons their marriage broke down when I was about 6.

Together they had me, the oldest and my brother Michael. Michael is 29, and works in a computer shop. He lives 6 hours drive away. He hasn't been here for a visit in nearly 2 years.

Then my parents split and Dad met the only person I truly hate, Kaisari. She had a son whom relatives were raising. His name is Tauraki and he's now 23. I have no clue where he is. Last I heard he was fruit picking in the South Island, dunno if he's still there or not. His childhood was very fucked up, being pushed from relative to relative, not being wanted by anyone.

Together Kaisari and Dad had John who's 22, living in the same city as me. He works as a drainlayer and he and his girlfriend Amber are expecting their first baby at the end of November.

Then they had Christine. She's 20, she also lives in the same city as me. She lives at a gang pad with her nasty and highly abusive boyfriend. They have a 15 month old son called Brooklyn, and I have heard she is heavily pregnant again.

Dad and Kaisari's marriage was always very volatile, a lot of abuse, alcohol and anger. Not to mention she was a raving lunatic. She used to believe her deceased grandmother was talking to her. The unfairness in the way all us different children were treated was disgusting. I was the maid/cook/child rearer, Michael was ignored except to be yelled at occasionally, John was a spoilt little shit who was very destructive and Christine was the little princess who could never do wrong and who's misbehaviours were always someone else's fault.

Their marriage lasted 2 weeks after I packed mine and Michael's bags and moved out at the ripe age of 16. Refusing to go back or allow Michael to go back. They had to look after their own kids and cook their own food. 2 weeks after that John and Christine came to live with us too.

About 4 months later we moved back in with Dad. Kaisari was quite happy for John and Christine to be raised by us, UNTIL welfare found out that she was ripping the system off and was claiming money for them while not actually having any contact with them. She took Dad to court and got them back.

Kaisari went on to have 2 more sons, Jimmy who is 14 and Harry who is 10. Welfare took custody of both boys, she has neither. Last I heard she was doing drugs, drinking heavily and turning tricks. Yes, I do mean being an prostitute.

When I was in my early 20s Dad was working in Western Samoa, there he met Sofima who eventually became wife number 3. She already had two sons Roydon who is now 17 and Felice who is 15. They both live with other relatives in Australia. Actually what's with all these women not raising their own children? I don't understand how they could do that.

Anyways while he was in Samoa, I had a phone call from Kaisari asking me if I would take John. He was 11 at the time. He had apparently tipped an entire lemon meringue pie over her head. I was pretty sure she had deserved it, but never the less agreed to take him. I picked him and his bags up and took him to McDonald's for dinner and sat him down and told him if he ever even thought about hurting me in anyway, I would knock his ass into next year. He never did.

Kaisari continued her downwards spiral into the wonderful world of drugs, gang association and abuse. Two years later I had a phone call from Christine at 11pm at night, she was terrified. I went and got her. I walked into her mothers house which was filled with drunken gang members, picked her up and walked out. Her mother tried to stop me, I nailed the bitch. It felt good.

I took her to court and got custody of both of them. No wonder they do some fucked up things though. I can't imagine the stuff they saw. I do know Kaisari was offering Johns 13 year old girlfriend and her friend $200 to have sex with one of her male friends.

So while all this was happening Dad was happily living with Sofima in Samoa then his job moved him to Australia. Eventually they had Mark, who is 6. A week before Sofima had Mark I found out I was pregnant with Nicole. So uncle and niece are 8 months apart in age.

Ha Ha..

A friend sent me a really kewl mIRC script the other day, it loads lots of clones onto a server, can join to a channel, and floods with 'fuckers, fuckers, fuckers'. Guess which server I loaded clones onto? You got it! The illiterate server owner's server! Apparently I joined 188 clones in 20 seconds, which I think is hella funny. He didn't though.

He's now threatening to give my ip to hackers. Thing is though, I'm on dial-up, so my ip changes every time I log on. LOL Good luck, Jackass!!!

I'm fine, its the rest of the world that's fuckered

The illiterate server owner strikes again....

He and I spend a lot of time this afternoon negotiating a truce between me, him and the psycho stalker woman. I leave to go to work, come back and are happily playing trivia, minding my own business, and the bastard akills me. Then blocks me on msn. I think its quite funny, hes scared of me? Geezus, I thought I was rather soft. Oh well, mischief time. All truces null and void.

I no longer feel at all guilty for telling a friend of the psycho stalker that I heard she had died.
(06:03:51pm)(stunner33) wonder where all the old ones went
(06:04:05pm)(fallen) the old ones like chrissy?
(06:04:18pm)(stunner33) yeah like chrisy
(06:04:29pm)(fallen) i think she died
(06:04:40pm)(stunner33) are you serious
(06:04:44pm)(fallen) yes
(06:05:06pm)(KenForLife) chrissy didnt die i don't think.........
(06:05:15pm)(fallen) i heard she did

Does all this make me a bad person? Nah, I'm sick of being a push over for the bullys of the world. Plus i'm bored.

Happy Birthday to Me

It was pretty much like any other day. I slept most of it, I think it had something to do with being on the telephone until 5am?

Only 5 of my 'online' friends remembered. The infamous ex didn't acknowledge it, I kinda figured he wouldn't, but hoped he would. Would a email saying 'Happy Birthday, Emma' been that hard? I guess he's really never cared. My Christmas/birthday present list just got a lot shorter.

I bought myself a present. Finally we have a DVD player!! Not a particularly flash or expensive one. But, hell, it plays DVD's, that's what its for, right? I bought Shrek 2 and two ECW ppvs on DVD.

Now I have to think about Nicole's 6th birthday later this month. She wants a party with lots of kids. I'm not keen, parties are expensive. Her father's mother and stepfather are meant to be coming to town for the weekend of it, so I'm not sure what to do. They told me a while ago that they are intending to get her a trampoline as a joint Birthday/Christmas present. Hopefully if they do that, she will stop jumping on all the fucking beds in the house. Perhaps the four of us will just go out for dinner somewhere. I'll think about it more...

Its my life

So why does there always seem to be other nosy fuckers sticking their beaks into it?

Just when I was feeling okay about how things were concluding with the infamous ex. An acquaintance decided to tell me in the middle of the chatroom that the ex had told him that he was going to block me. It made me feel about 2 feet tall. And, hell, if I wanted my personal life broadcast round the chatroom, I would type about it in there myself.

I always credited my ex with more balls than hes shown of late. Perhaps he forgot to take them with him when he moved?

Why can't the fuckers just leave me alone to lick my wounds, get over it and move on, in peace?

Pfft

I finally got my long awaited confrontation with my 'infamous ex' as a friend of mine calls him. His indifference and apathy towards me astounded me. He offered up a cyber shrug and a cyber sigh when asked for an explanation. I ask him a few questions, he replied with vague answers, I thought 'fuck this' and gave up. I didn't end up saying half of the things I had intended on saying. The thing that bugged me most about that conversation was something very simple...He didn't ask how either I or my daughter was. Shows exactly how much he cares.

Since that conversation I've half heartedly thought about emailing him and saying all the other things I wanted to say. But I've pretty much come to the conclusion I would just be wasting my time. Its better to put this whole mess behind me and move on. There are lessons to be learnt here, somewhere. I'll let you know when I find them...

Happy Birthday, Mommy

Today would be my Mum's 62nd Birthday. She died of lung cancer 11.45pm Saturday February 28th 1992. I held her in my arms as she died. Some days I miss her more than others, this is one of them.
