For Fucks Sake....

Out of the blue I received an email for Nicole from her father. He is full of excuses as to why hes not been in contact for the past three years, and lots of promises of keeping in touch etc. He has big stories about how hes got some big deal job in a events promotion company. Why is he only paying me $62/month child support then? I feel a need to call Inland Revenue on Monday to make sure they have his correct employers details.

I haven't shown Nicole the email yet. Shes not overly fussed about him. Hes never really been around for her to develop a relationship with. I guess I'll show her the email and let her decide what she wants to do from here.

HOLIDAYS!!

Finally! Its the holidays! The 8 weeks of tech have gone quickly. The 7th week I spent on my first week of work experience. It went well. I even got to pierce a teenage girl's ear!! I'm having second thoughts about doing the technician course next year though, the technicians at the place I did work experience at weren't treated well.

Oh... for those who don't know I'm currently doing a Pharmacy Assistant and Cosmetology Qualification. I didn't think I'd be particularly interested in the Cosmetology part of the course. We started that part in week 8. I found it interesting. Who'd have guessed! Over the holidays I've got to do a skin model project. Up top is a photo of one of the models made last year. Thats the kind of thing I have to do. I'll take a picture of mine when I'm finished.

Stewart is doing well in his Automotive Mechanics course too. Hes passed all his assessments so far with good marks. Hes really enjoying his work experience.
